Delivery of a generator control cabinet including excitation system IREG and generator protection system Siprotec 5.
For the first time, a contract was signed with the turbine manufacturer De Pretto Industrie S.r.l for the delivery of a generator control cabinet for the “Solvay Rheinberg” project. On site in Germany, a steam turbine from De Pretto and a generator from ELIN will be installed.
For the AGR in Herten, the excitation system for the second AEG turbo-generator is currently being modernized. The digital, static-compounded excitation system IREG is used. This means that all two generators on site have been modernized with LST systems.
A contract for the modernization of the discontinued TSG2D3-B6 excitation system has been concluded with MIBRAG. The new IREG system feeds the 47.5 MVA generator on the power plant located in Wählitz.
In June 2019, AWG Wuppertal placed an order for the modernization of 2 static excitation systems for 2 AEG generators. The existing systems TSG2DS-SH will be modernized with the new system IREG.
Company LST is currently implementing the modernization of 2 digital excitation systems for the GMVA Niederrhein GmbH located in Oberhausen. The new excitation system IREG is used as replacement for the old system TSG2D.
Modernization of the excitation system, generator protection system and synchronization system
ENGIE Deutschland GmbH has successfully concluded a contract for the modernization of 6 static excitation systems, generator protection systems and synchronization systems for the Pfreimd power plant group at Reisach 1-3 pumped storage plant.
2 Siemens generators and 1 AEG generator (each 35 MVA) are installed on site.
Company LST is currently implementing the modernization of 2 redundant excitation systems for the SORFERT plant in Algeria. The IREG exciter system is used redundantly.
For the University of Stuttgart, the excitation system for the BBC turbo-generator is currently being modernized at the HKW Pfaffenwald. The digital, static-compounded excitation system IREG is used. This means that all three generators on site have been modernized with LST systems.
